Two versions of KJL
Easy Books are
available currently, a manual book based system (similar to others on the
market but easier to use), and an Excel spreadsheet version. Another stand
alone program is near completion and will be ready by the end of the year.
Both the Excel version and the software program are dual platform (Mac or
Windows). Developed by a CPA for nonaccountants.
Spanish versions coming
soon also.
In my 20 years as an
accountant and CPA I have found that many
people are intimidated by the bookkeeping process.
Especially intimidating are the tax reporting requirements, particularly
Sales Taxes. I have developed a system that I feel is very simple to
use and will make tax time a much more enjoyable event, if it can be that.
The
book/programs I have developed are easy to use and inexpensive. It is geared
toward very small retailing operations such as event vendors and very small
retailers that must track taxable sales versus non-taxable sales and sales
taxes due. The system will work equally as well for any small business that
does not have a large number of transactions per month. Not only will this book/program be invaluable for sales tax
reporting but will make the filing of your tax return so much easier.
