Born on February26, 1973, Marshall Faulk is an American football player in the National Football League . As a member of the Aztecs, Faulk played college games at San Diego State University . He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts as second overall draft in 1994 and was later traded to the St. Louis Rams in the 1999 season. During his first year with St. Louis Marshall Faulk led the rams to win the Super Bowl. Faulk won the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year award for three years consecutively from 1999-2000. During the 1999 season, Faulk set the NFL record for yards with 1,381 rushing yards, and 1,048 receiving yards for a total of 2,429 yards. He was also the NFL MVP in the year 2000.
