Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently-asked financial services questions:

Q:  Is it really that important to have a bookkeeper?

A:  Most certainly. In most cases, banks, lenders and investors want to know where your business stands financially. My services will allow your business to most accurately answer these questions. Also, most businesses are audited periodically, and need the past 7 years financial records. If you do not have these, there will be fines. I will help your business to have accurate books and well organized files should this or any other situation arise.

Q:  Are your services going to be very expensive?

A:  I charge a monthly retainer fee that is tailored to your business. It is a very manageable amount, and in most cases, my services will save you more money than you will pay me.

Q:  Can I do my own books?

A:  In most cases I have found that small business owners who have a small client or small customer base can do their own books.  I am more than willing to train you on how to do them.  When your business picks up and you don't have the time or the energy to do your books is when my services will be essential and cost effective.  We can talk more about this in person if you would like.
